Post-election Resources
Election Day is over. Now what? Our goal is to provide you with the tools and information needed to navigate the post-election landscape and remain an active participant in democracy.
Election Results
As a reminder, Election Day is not “results day.” It takes time to count all the votes and if we don’t know the results within 24 hours, that’s ok. It means the system is working to ensure accuracy. Don't forget: when it comes to results and any other election-related information, make sure you are getting your information from trusted sources. Be careful of potential mis- and disinformation that may be present during the post-election period. Be especially careful not to share information on social media until you have verified whether the information is factual or not. The "Fake News," Misinformation, & Disinformation guide and How to SIFT through Misinformation tutorial can be helpful in assisting you to navigate information responsibly.
