We'd like to take a moment to congratulate our 2024 Student Commencement Speaker, Journee Lutz (she/they), TFMA '24.

While attaining a Bachelor of Arts in Theater, Journee has also remained incredibly active in various leadership,service, and social-justice minded opportunities throughout Philadelphia. Notably, Journee is responsible for co-founding Theater Underground - a program meant to provide a space for Black students interested in theatre at Temple to connect and collaborate on projects that celebrate, and uplift theatre made for and by artists of the diaspora.
